When to use a M-AX or R-AX?

The M‑AX and R‑AX rotary valves by TBMA ensure reliable dosing and conveying of powders and granules. Due to the robust and compact construction and easy discharging, these valves show optimal performance in various industrial applications.

These medium duty rotary valves are specially designed for applications with limited differential pressure, such as:

low-pressure pneumatic conveying systems
for big-bag discharging
under cyclones and filters

The closed, dust-tight and sealed for life bearings ensure a long lifespan - ideal for continuous production processes.

M-AX | R-AX medium duty valves

M-AX | The M-AX valves are equipped with round connecting flanges and are available in four sizes.

R-AX | The R-AX valves have a relatively large flange diameter in relation to the rotor capacity: it is a smart solution for applications where the flange size has a higher priority than the valve capacity.

R-AX valves are equipped with a round and a square connecting flange, which allows the valve to be used as a transition piece from round to square or vice versa. This is very favourable for the installation height and saves any mounting parts.
